Safefamilydriving.com has launched this campaign because we don't think enough's being done to promote what the experts call 'best practice' in relation to the Child Car Seat Law changes that came into force on September 18th.
A good quality high back booster seat gives your children better safety protection and comfort. These seats are available for older children in styles that will appeal. Of course fewer complaints means less distraction for drivers and safer journeys for everyone.
Our independent Child Car Seat Law Survey (PDF) showed that with little more than 2 weeks to go, a shocking 26% of parents interviewed were still unaware of the new legislation and 70% of parents buying a new restraint intended to buy a booster cushion.
We feel so strongly about this that it's always been our policy not to sell booster cushions, only high back booster seats. If your child is currently using a booster cushion, we urge you to "THINK!" again!
