They can run for up to 3 hours on the rechargeable battery. This means the option of having no 'spaghetti junction' trailing cables. For older passengers, go for a system with wireless headphone capability for great sound and still no cables! (For younger children in high back booster seats with wraparound head protection, it may be wiser to stick to the integral speakers)
